Goodbye, pal. You were the best. You're free now.

Sorry to hear about that, Brian. Dogs are truly a man's best friend. Oscar, a half great pyrenese and half samoyed big white fluffy dog was my best friend growing up. Taught me so many things. And my family got a golden retriever when I was in high school, Maxwell Hobbes. He was an awesome dog who died a few months ago. R.I.P. Maybe they have cool events in doggy heaven for them to go to. Posted by: peter caputa at April 24, 2005 02:46 PMSo sad to hear this. :( We had to give up our pooch for the sake of our toddler earlier this year, and man oh man I can't remember the last time I cried so much. Have you read this? http://homeholidaysfamilyandfun.com/aspiring/files/dogs-the-power-of-a-dog.shtml Posted by: Derek O at April 24, 2005 02:48 PMHe had a good life with you and many, many years from now as you walk through the gates he will greet you and you can pick up where you left off. Posted by: KEEME at April 24, 2005 03:31 PMI agree with KEEME. You've given Jesse a good life, and that should give you some comfort, If that's at all possible right now. Having read all your posts regarding Jesse have made me love my dog even more. I'm sure gonna miss reading about Jesse. Posted by: Guillermo Godoy at April 25, 2005 05:45 AMAwfully sorry to hear this, Brian. It's clear from your writings that you took great care of him and he must have had a very good life with you. Posted by: Lyle at April 25, 2005 08:23 AMBrian..I am so sorry to hear you lost Jesse...you took great care of him, and he loved you. Brian very sorry for your loss. There is no doubt he had a great life. Brian, I'm so sorry for your loss; I can tell by Jesse's photo how unique he was. I see his bright & shing spirit coming through. I know that he'll always be with you, though, looking out for you in his own, very special, loving doggie-way. Beloved pets are like that, you know! And I fell in love just looking at him.... Posted by: Sam at May 7, 2005 01:13 AMI am very sorry for your loss. Bullies are so special. I dread the day my BT boys will leave me. I am sure Jesse knew he was loved.
