October 27, 2004QuintessenceI've tried for the most part to stay out of politics with this blog, but when I read about and then saw this video today I had to say something. Does not this video succinctly summarize the very essence of the character of the incumbent candidate better than any speech or spin could ever do?

I guess I don't see it as a big deal. It wasn't on live television. There was some horsing around going on in the studio. Who hasn't given the finger to someone, during a bit of goofing around. Now, if he were flipping off a classroom of 1st graders, I would think differently. The series of photos shows he is messing around. But if you don't like him for other reasons it would be easy to show one picture and declare this is his essence. I think that is called spin, right?
