October 25, 2004Jon Stewart on CSPANIf you liked Stewart on Crossfire recently, check this out -- a much longer (1-hr) interview with Ken Auletta in front of an audience of media executives. It was recorded 10/14/2004, putting it within 24 hours of his Crossfire appearance. The program aired on 10/23/2004 on CSPAN.You can find the RealPlayer video at C-SPAN's American Perspectives web page. Stewart is profane, scathing, brilliant, and he hits the nail on the head with regard to the media and the election. Worth watching. Comments
I get a rtsp not valid protocol message Posted by: chris at October 25, 2004 09:24 AMhello, i'm visiting via a post on boingboing. i don't suppose you happen to know where mr. stewart appears in the program? the clip on the site is of the whole show...and as riveting as cspan programming is, if you happen to know to which point in the show a viewer ought jump in order to catch JS, that'd be nifty. thanks for the link! Posted by: MattyMatt at October 25, 2004 10:05 AMI assure you it's no mystery. It's the 10/23/2004 program, right there on the American Perspectives page. Click "Watch" and you'll get a RealPlayer video feed. The Stewart interview is the first thing (about an hour long) in a 2+ hr program. Posted by: brian at October 25, 2004 10:07 AMhere is the direct real player link: however, it has been boingboing'd at the moment. Posted by: Skip at October 25, 2004 10:43 AMdoes anyone know of a link/torrent to jon stewart's 60 minutes appearence that was on TV last night? i missed it, unfortunately, but he supposedly reiterated some things that were said on the crossfire debate (though it was taped before that occured) Posted by: adam at October 25, 2004 11:51 AM
