March 25, 2002Heron's LectureKatrina Heron's RealVideo recording of a May 15, 2001 Stanford lecture is worth watching and listening to just to hear her story of pens and pencils at WIRED magazine. I'm not sure I can entirely agree with her quote, "we would rather be brave than right." If she's talking about WIRED predicting the future, fine. If she's talking about WIRED reporting the past (even the recent past) -- WIRED unfortunately has sometimes been more brave than right. For more on this lecture, click here.
